***October 2019***

Happy fall!  As fall is a time of transition in our region for the earth, it has also been a transformation for me and my practice.  As of October 2019 I have started a position at Weill Cornell Medical Center as a massage therapist in their Integrative Health and Well-Being Program.  I am still available at Red Moon Wellness Saturdays from 3-9PM, and have limited availability for private clients as well, in particular for home visits for pre/post natal and for folks for whom traveling to an office is a barrier. I am still offering my sliding scale rate, although barters are difficult for me at this time.

I am also happy to announce that I have received my Certified Lactation Counselor Certification!  I am hoping to continue to learn more about the field of lactation support and offer services in the future, in particular for queer, GNC, non-binary, and trans caregivers. Stay tuned for more! In the meantime, if you are looking for lactation support I highly recommend Kate DiMarco-Ruck, IBCLC (theparentingstudio.com).

Welcome to the home page for my practice.  Here you will find information about my rates, my philosophy of practice, more details on the kind of work I specialize in, and some more comprehensive and regular writing.

I am a NYS licensed LMT, with certifications and training in THE ARVIGO TECHNIQUES OF MAYA ABDOMINAL THERAPY® , breast massage, pre-natal massage, cranio-sacral therapy and visceral manipulation. I also have a background in herbal support. As a practitioner, I am particularly interested in treating queer, transgender, and gender non-conforming clients in all areas of body work, including but not limited to: fibroids, fertility, digestive health, gender affirmation, post-surgery support, depression, anxiety, chronic pain and illness, and more. I practice in Queens, Park Slope, and Flatbush and I also do home visits on a case-by-case basis. I offer a sliding scale rate for those who need it, and offer special rates for people who are involved in political organizing and movement work. My practice strives to be anti-racist and anti-patriarchal, and I work with people of all genders, sexual orientations, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and spiritual belief systems.
